Veterans Travel Network (“VTN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a travel resource and travel advisory brand operated by Global Escape Travel, LLC (“Global Escape Travel,” the “Company”), a licensed travel agency. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through veteranstravelnetwork.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, and how it's used — including the point where it may be shared with Global Escape Travel, LLC to help plan or book your trip.

We've written this in plain language on purpose. Our audience has seen enough corporate double-talk. If anything here isn't clear, contact us — details are at the end of this policy.

1. Who We Are

Veterans Travel Network is a brand (d/b/a) of Global Escape Travel, LLC. Global Escape Travel, LLC is the company responsible for the Site and for any personal information collected through it — sometimes called the “data controller.” References to “we,” “us,” and “Our” in this policy mean Global Escape Travel, LLC, operating as Veterans Travel Network. Global Escape Travel, LLC operates out of Prince William County, Virginia.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information you give us directly

• Contact form submissions — name, email address, and whatever you write in the message.

• Newsletter and email list sign-ups — name and email address.

• Downloads of our PDF checklists and worksheets — these may be “gated” behind an email opt-in, meaning we collect your email address in exchange for the download.

• Trip inquiry or consultation requests — name, email, phone number, and general trip details you choose to share (for example, destination interest, rough dates, or group size).

b. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, VTN automatically collects some technical information when you visit — things like your browser type, device type, general location (based on IP address), the pages you view, and how long you spend on them. We use this to understand how people use the Site and to make it better. We collect this through Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. c. What we intentionally do not collect through this Site

VTN's website forms are not designed or intended to collect sensitive information such as health conditions, medications, military service records, or Department of Defense/VA documentation. If you engage our travel advisory services, that kind of information — along with any documents your trip may require — is collected separately, directly, by Global Escape Travel, LLC through conversations, secure intake forms, or trip-planning tools. We flag this distinction because we know our visitors — many of you are used to sharing sensitive information for VA claims, medical appointments, or benefits paperwork, and rightly careful about where it goes. The short version: this website's forms are for getting acquainted and sending you resources. Anything more personal happens later, directly with your advisor, off the public website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to questions submitted through the contact form.

• Send the checklists, worksheets, or newsletter content you signed up for.

• Improve the Site — understanding which content is useful and which isn't.

• With your consent (for example, when you submit a trip inquiry), pass your contact information to a Global Escape Travel, LLC advisor so they can follow up about trip planning or booking.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information to serve third-party advertising, and we do not currently run retargeting or behavioral-advertising campaigns based on your activity on this Site. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy first.

4. When We Share Your Information

We share information only in these situations:

• With Global Escape Travel, LLC — since VTN is a brand of Global Escape Travel, LLC, information you submit (such as a trip inquiry) is shared internally so a licensed advisor can help you.

• With service providers who help run the Site — for example, our website host, email/newsletter platform, and form software. These companies only use your information to provide their service to us.

• If required by law — such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or valid government request.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device to remember information. We use a small number of them:

• Essential cookies — needed for the Site to function properly (for example, remembering that you've closed a cookie banner).

• Analytics cookies — help us understand overall traffic and how visitors use the Site, as described in Section 2(b).

We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through your settings; doing so may affect how parts of the Site work.

8. Children's Privacy

Veterans Travel Network is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we ask that no one under 18 submit information through our forms without a parent or guardian.

9. Links to Other Websites & Third-Party References

Our content may reference or link to third-party services, benefits, or programs — for example, the TSA, the VA, the USO, or specific airlines. These references are for informational purposes only. Veterans Travel Network is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government agency, military branch, or third-party organization mentioned on the Site unless we specifically say otherwise. We aren't responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party site you visit through a link on ours.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last Updated” date at the top. If changes are significant, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know — for example, through a notice on the Site or in our newsletter.
